Hey. I’m single.
I know, I know. A woman my age, saying that out loud, in a video, for the whole internet to see. But I’m tired of pretending. I’m tired of games, I’m tired of men who text for a week and then disappear, and I’m tired of being told I should just be grateful for whatever comes along.
I’m not looking for perfect. I’m looking for real.
I want a man who knows how to treat a woman right. Not with big promises, not with flowers once a year and silence the rest of the time. I mean the small things. A good morning text. Listening when I talk, really listening, not just waiting for his turn to speak. Opening a door. Remembering how I take my coffee. Calling, not just texting, because a voice tells you so much more than a screen ever can.
I like a man who has lived a little. Who has stories to tell, not just pictures to show. Who has made mistakes and learned from them. Who isn’t afraid to say “I’m sorry” — and who means it. Who still believes in dancing in the kitchen, even if it’s just to an old song on the radio, with no one watching.
I’m not 20 anymore, and I don’t pretend to be. I know what I like, and I know what I don’t. I like quiet mornings and long talks late at night. I like cooking for someone who actually appreciates it. I like a man who can make me laugh until my stomach hurts, and then hold my hand when I’m quiet, just because he’s there.
I don’t need a man to take care of me. I take care of myself. I have my own life, my own home, my own dreams. What I want is a partner. Someone to share the good days with, and someone to lean on when the days are hard. Someone who chooses me, every day, not just when it’s easy.
So why am I telling you all of this here? Because I believe the right person is out there, and maybe he’s reading this right now. Maybe he’s a man who has loved and lost, who knows what matters, who is also tired of games. Maybe he’s been waiting for someone to be honest first.
So here I am, being honest first.
If you’re a real man, a kind man, a man who still believes in respect, in loyalty, in showing up — then don’t just watch this video and scroll past. Tell me in the comments: what does a real man look like to you? What is the one thing you would never compromise on in love?
And if you want to know more about me — what I love, what I’m looking for, and what my perfect evening looks like — you already know where to find it.
I’m single. I’m real. And I’m waiting for someone real.
Are you that someone?
